The process

  • 1. Eye exam — by a Doctor of Optometry with the Rodenstock DNEye Scanner 3 (details here). If you already have a recent prescription from home, bring it — we can work from it or re-check it for free

  • 2. Frame selection — genuine international frames: LINDBERG, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Oliver Peoples, Moscot, ic! berlin, Silhouette, Prada, Chrome Hearts, 999.9 and more. No copies, no grey imports

  • 3. Lens selection — Rodenstock and ZEISS from Germany, HOYA from Japan, Essilor from France. Single vision, office lenses, or fully personalised progressives made to your eye's biometric data

  • 4. Collection — turnaround depends on your lenses: stock lenses are ready quickly, while fully personalised lenses are made to order at the factory in Germany. We confirm an exact pickup date before you commit

What it costs

The honest answer: it depends on three choices — the frame (a Ray-Ban and a LINDBERG sit in very different ranges), the lens design (single vision, office, or progressive), and the lens options (index, coatings, photochromic). We are a premium shop rather than the cheapest in town — the value is in the measurement quality, genuine products and aftercare. Aftercare, included

Adjustments, refitting and nose-pad or temple-tip replacements are free — regulars will tell you we adjust glasses at no charge even for people who bought them elsewhere. If you are in Chiang Mai long-term, your glasses have a home for maintenance.
